Country Christmas

Join us for the Cathedral of St. Thomas More Annual Country Christmas on December 11, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Celebrate the Christmas season with horse drawn carriage rides, pony rides, petting zoo, carolers, hot dogs, hot coco and cookies, pictures with Santa, Christmas music and much more!
There is a suggested donation to attend the event of $10 per family, you can give more or less – our goal is to ensure the event is accessible to the whole community and is subsidized by the PTO and Parish. Purchase tickets below. Photos with Santa are included in the price of admission. You must separately schedule your Picture with Santa here. There are limited number of photo slots available, so sign up early.
Murphy’s of Arlington will be providing free hot dogs to all those in attendance. For planning purposes, please let us know how many hot dogs you anticipate your family will eat and how many will attend.

Women’s Council
Please visit us at the Women’s Council tables during Country Christmas! We will be selling handcrafted baby items, blankets, Christmas crafts and tasty baked goods, including a gingerbread house (also hot chocolate!).
Knight’s of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus will be selling Christmas Cards during Country Christmas. Buying these beautiful Christ-themed Christmas cards not only shows your good taste but also supports the Cathedral Council Knights of Columbus charitable works like Seminarian support, school tuition assistance and school and parish support programs from the Knights of Columbus.
Join Cub Pack 194
Join Cub Scout Pack 194 in honoring the veterans of the Old Soldiers Home, also known as the Armed Forces Retirement Home, of Washington, DC. Come by our booth at Country Christmas and create a personalized Christmas card that we’ll deliver to one of the AFRH residents. We can’t wait to see you!
