We are grateful for the many blessings bestowed upon our parish. Your generosity enables us to do MORE for others; from supporting various charities throughout our community, and the world, to investing in our students’ educational and faith formation, to maintaining our beautiful Cathedral campus. Here, we show that the mission of our Church, the call to service from our patron Saint, is alive. YOU are one of God’s servants.
How can you share his many blessings this season?
Make a Gift from an IRA! You can take your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and use it as a qualified charitable gift. These qualified direct distributions to charity are not added to taxable income. If you are 701/2 you may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
Give From Your Stock Assets
Consider making a gift of appreciated stock to our parish. You will receive an income tax deduction and avoid capital gains tax on the stock appreciation. For information, contact your financial institution or visit www.arlingtondiocese.planmylegacy.org.
Support our initiative to replace our aging elevator!
The Cathedral is home not just to the 1700 families who worship here regularly, but to thousands of visitors from our diocese and beyond who seek to meet Christ in Word and Sacrament. We host many spiritual and fellowship activities throughout the year with those comes wear and tear on the elevator. As repairs have mounted, the decision was made to replace the unit. The diocese has allocated $100,000 towards the $180,000 cost.
