Be a Channel of Peace; Pray with More Today

Make Me a Channel of Your Peace
As we continue to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord, we acknowledge that Christ’s promise of salvation through faith is muted by war and strife throughout our world. A world, created by God, which is to be shared and stewarded by each of us.
I ask you especially today, to pray for peace for those suffering everywhere.
On April 11, our Holy Father held a prayer vigil at St. Peter’s Basilica for peace. “We are growing accustomed to violence, resigning ourselves to it, and becoming indifferent … Let those who have weapons lay them down!”
Join with him, in spiritual communion, and continue to pray for an end to conflict and to alleviate the suffering of thousands of innocent victims.
May our Risen Christ be with you now, and always and, may Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for us.
God bless. Father Posey
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.” St. Francis
