Catholics Vote No

This fall in the Commonwealth of Virginia two proposed amendments on the ballot threaten the human right to life and the truth of marriage. As Catholics, we vote “no” on these proposed amendments because if passed, these amendments gravely damage the intrinsic dignity of persons and the nature of marriage and the family. Bishop Burbidge has requested each parish in the diocese pray a monthly Catholics Vote No Holy Hour.  As a result, the Cathedral will have our Holy Hour on the Last Friday of the Month (July 31, August 28, September 25, and October 30) from 7:00pm-8pm.  Please plan to join and pray that these amendments are defeated.
