Mass in Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Most Rev. Michael F. Burbidge will celebrate the 12:05 PM Mass on Friday, September 11. All are invited to join in prayer for the repose of the souls lost that terrible day, and for all those affected by this tragedy. We give thanks and honor the thousands of first responders who came to the aid of the victims and their families. We pray for the safety of the men and women who continually put themselves in harm’s way for our benefit, especially those in the Armed Services. And as always, we pray for peace.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life
