Thank you for responding to the invitation of Pope Francis and the Most Rev. Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of Arlington, to participate in a worldwide synodal process, leading to the Synod of Bishops in 2023.
The word "synod" means to "journey together" and this synod begins at the local and diocesan level.
Everyone in the Diocese of Arlington is encouraged to take part in this process. We want to hear the thoughts and experiences of people of all ages. We invite everyone to fill out this form, regardless of whether they participate in any other consultations. This form will be available through April 15, 2022.
Every question on this survey is optional. Participants are encouraged to reflect on each question and answer in a way guided by the Holy Spirit. At the end of the survey, please click "SUBMIT" to share your insights with the Diocese of Arlington`s Synod Team.

We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in Your name.
With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts;
Teach us the way we must go, and how we are to pursue it.
We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder.
Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions.
Let us find in You our unity, so that we may journey together to eternal life
and not stray from the way of truth and what is right.
