The Cathedral of Saint Thomas More News:

Girl Scouts

In cooperation with the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, Saint Thomas More Cathedral School’s Girl Scouts are encouraged to learn more about their faith through the Diocese’s hosted activities, Scout masses and community service projects. Saint Thomas More Cathedral School Troop volunteers are VIRTUS compliant to control risk and improve the lives of all those involved in Scouting. At Girl Scouts we are a family, connected by our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. We count on every adult to support this amazing volunteer organization. Together, as a family, we can help girls get started on a path to a future filled with success.
Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital

The Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital (GSCNC) is the premier leadership development organization for girls. With the support of our dedicated adult volunteers and parents and the generosity of corporations, foundations and our popular Girl Scout Cookie program, Girl Scouting provides girls with ways to learn new skills, participate in a variety of activities and service projects and make new friends. The Girl Scout Council serves the Greater Washington Region, including Saint Thomas More Cathedral School, where we have nine troops (grades K-8). Scouts register with troops at the beginning of the school year. Meeting times and dates vary per troop.
