First Holy Communion 2024

As you know, this is a very important year for your child as he/she prepares to receive First Penance and First Holy Communion. There are many important dates for the preparation of the Sacraments, so please take note of the following:
Como ustedes saben este es un año muy importante para su hijo/a cuando el/ella se prepare para recibir la Primera Penitencia(Confesión) y la Primera Comunión. Estas son las fechas importantes para la preparación de los Sacramentos, por favor tome nota de lo siguiente:
Paperwork Due: January 10, 2024

First Penance: February 3, 2024 at 10:00am
First Penance will be on Saturday, February 3, 2023 at 10:00am at the Cathedral. Families should arrive by 9:45am.
Mrs. Donovan’s Class: Arrive at 9:45
Mrs. McIntosh’s Class: Arrive at 10:00
Mrs. Furrifino’s Class: Arrive at 10:15
Mr. Connole’s Class: Arrive at 10:30
Other sacramental students: Arrive at 10:30
La Primera Penitencia será el Sábado 3 de Febrero del 2024 a las 10:00 am en la Catedral.
Clase de Sra. Ferrufino debe llegar a las 10:15am
Clase del Sr. Connole debe llegar a las 10:30am

First Communion Retreat: March 16, 2024, 8:45 am-3:00 pm
This year’s First Communion Retreat will be held from 8:45am to 3:30pm in Burke Hall and school cafeteria. The retreat begins with 9:00 am Mass. Families are encouraged to join the students for Mass.
Este año el retiro de la Primera Comunión será en la Catedral (Burke Hall) y la cafetería de la escuela STM de 8:45am hasta las 3:30pm. El retiro comienza con la Misa y las familias están invitadas a asistir a la Misa con los estudiantes.
First Communion Mass: May 4, 2024 10:30 am
The First Communion Mass will be on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church (1910 N. Randolph St., Arlington, VA 22207) Students should arrive no later than 9:30 am so we can practice before Mass. Students should be in St Agnes’ parish hall no later than 9:30am so we can practice before mass—where to walk, where to sit, etc.
La Misa de Primera Comunión será el Sábado 4 de Mayo de 2024 a las 10:30 am en St. Agnes Catholic Church (1910 N Randolph St., Arlington, VA 22207) debido a nuestra construcción. Los estudiantes deben estar en el salón parroquial de St. Agnes a más tardar a las 9:30 am para que podamos practicar antes de la misa: dónde caminar, dónde sentarse, etc.
