Confirmation Crash Course

For those who are already baptized Catholic, but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation, the Cathedral is offering a Confirmation Crash Course – 4 classes over 5 weeks of small group meetings to prepare for the Sacrament. Classes will begin in April and will meet on Monday evenings.
Confirmation Crash Course
N.B. This course is for adult Baptized Catholics who have received first Holy Communion but not been fully initiated with Confirmation.
Meetings: Mondays 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the St. Thomas More Cathedral School
Class Schedule:
- April 8—The Creed and the Sacraments. CCC 142-197; 1275-1284
- April 15—Confirmation, Marriage, and Holy Eucharist. CCC 1315-1321, 1406-1419, 1659-1666
- April 22—Morality and Confession. CCC 1485-1498, 1700-1877
- May 6—Prayer and virtues. CCC 2558-2865
Readings all from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC).
Adult Confirmation Mass Date:
Sunday May 19 at Nativity Parish in Burke
Documents needed for all Candidates for Confirmation:
- Catholic Baptismal Certificate. Must be newly issued within the last 6 months with notations
- Sponsor Form. The sponsor must meet the requirements.
- If you are married, please provide a copy of your Catholic marriage certificate. In order to be confirmed, you must be married in the Catholic Church.
- Confirmation Saint name selected by each individual.
