The Cathedral of Saint Thomas More News:

Get Involved

“As each one has received a gift, use to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Pt 4:10).

Stewardship is a way of life, deeply rooted in Jesus Christ, who by His example, has taught us how to live.  When lovingly embraced, stewardship produces a spirituality that glorifies our Heavenly Father, deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ, and refreshes our lives with the Holy Spirit. Stewardship is an expression of gratitude to God.

God has given each of us something to do that no one else on earth can do.  No one else can be the person that God has called us to be. We are each unique and have been given a unique set of gifts and talents. As faithful stewards of our gifts, we do not keep them to ourselves. Through stewardship, Jesus makes clear to each of us our individual mission in the Church, giving us the grace to live stewardship as our way of life, helping us grow in spirituality and journey towards holiness.

As we recognize the presence of God in our lives, we recognize our need to live out our call to stewardship, which inspires us to share our gifts of time, talent and treasure. In this way, we bring joy to others, which in turn, help us find satisfaction and happiness.

The Ministry Guide provides a list of many opportunities to choose from as you discern how you can best share your gifts here at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More.  Please prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to share your gifts of time, talent and treasure in our parish family.
