Scheduling a Quinceanera
The Quinceañera Ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More is scheduled every second Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM.
Parents may request a Quinceañera for their daughters in person at the Parish Office during regular business hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm or complete this form.
To book a Quinceañera the family should be registered members of the parish. The parents of the candidate must complete a Registration Form and pay a Non-Refundable deposit in the amount of $125.00 which will be applied to the total donation of $250.00. The date of the Quinceañera is not confirmed and scheduled until the deposit is received and the candidate has met all of the requirements listed below. The balance of $125.00 is due no later than one month prior to the date of the Quinceañera.
The rehearsals for all Quinceañera will be held on the Friday evening before the Quinceañera (time will be given a week prior to the Quinceañera).

Preparation and Documents
All candidates must have already received her Sacraments of Initiation and provide copies of her Baptismal, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation Certificates.
Candidates must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation to be eligible to celebrate a Quinceanera.
The candidates must participate in the Arlington Diocese formation class and at least one parent must attend the class as well. Each candidate must provide a certificate that indicates that they have completed the course prior to the date of the Quinceañera. Retiros para Quinceañeras (arlingtondiocese.org)
Candidates must schedule an interview with a Cathedral priest before the Quincenera.
The candidate must submit one letter of recommendation from a youth minister or teacher demonstrating that she is living her Catholic faith.
If the candidate is a member of another Parish, the candidate must provide a letter of permission from the Pastor of her Parish.
Flowers and Photography
Confetti, rice, flower petals, birdseed, and bubbles may not be scattered around the Church. Photography and video are allowed within the reasonable bounds of good taste and remembering that the ceremony is taking place within the House of God. Please consult your priest regarding flash photography and video during the Ceremony.
Music
You must contact Fr. Vincent Ferrer Bagan, O.P., Director of Music, to discuss the music for the ceremony. He can be reached at 703-525-1300 ext 31. The fee for the organist is $300.00 and the cantor is $175.00.

Cómo Reservar una Misa de Quinceañera
La Misa para Quinceañeras en la Catedral de St. Thomas More será el segundo sábado de cada mes a las 11:00 AM.
Los padres pueden solicitar una Misa de Quinceañera para sus hijas en persona en la Oficina Parroquial durante de lunes a viernes de 9:00am-4:00pm o llene el siguiente formulario.
Para reservar una Misa la familia debe estar registrada como miembros de la parroquia. Los padres de la candidata deben completar un Formulario de Inscripción y pagar un depósito No Reembolsable de $125.00 que se aplicará al total de la donación de $250.00. La fecha de la Misa de Quinceañera no está confirmada ni programada hasta que se reciba el depósito y la candidata haya cumplido con todos los requisitos necesarios. El saldo de $125.00 vence a más tardar un mes antes de la fecha de la Misa de Quinceañera.
Los ensayos para toda la Misas se llevarán a cabo el viernes por la noche antes de la Misa de Quinceañera (Se programará una hora de la semana antes de la Misa de Quinceañera).
La Preparación y los Documentos

Las Flores y La Fotografía
No se puede esparcir por la Iglesia confeti, arroz, pétalos de flores, semillas ni burbujas. Se permiten fotografías y videos dentro de los límites razonables y siempre teniendo presente que la ceremonia se lleva a cabo dentro de la Casa de Dios. Por favor consulte con el sacerdote antes de la Misa sobre la fotografía y el video con flash.
La Música
